Sam is the latest addition to the growing Unigrow family. He brings with him over 34 years functional expertise in both Trade Marketing & Distribution as well as Brand Marketing in the FMCG space in both India and Nepal, as well as in managing a Lifestyle Retail Chain and marketing of Services. Experience across a wide variety of industries/ categories, ranging from Cigarettes, Foods & Personal Care, alcoholic beverages -both Beer and Spirits, Apparel Marketing & Marketing of Hotel Services . Sam is an Economics Graduate from St Xavier’s Kolkata and an Alumni of FMS, Delhi University.
Last 22+ years Sam has been with ITC Ltd performing various functional roles in Trade Marketing & Distribution as well as brands. His last assignment with ITC was as National Sales Head for Cigarettes and FMCG in the Convenience Channel. He has also been in an Executive Leadership role in ITC for last ~15 years as Member of Divisional Management Committees of various businesses as well as of the Trade Marketing and Distribution Organisation, thereby contributing to the executive management of the Division/s.
His key strengths include consistently delivering superior business results year on year by providing thought leadership, strategic vision and driving excellence in planning and last mile execution of Trade Marketing & Distribution strategies in highly competitive environment.
